A series of photographs have been published on social networks in which different parents can be seen in public toilets changing a diaper uncomfortably, and it is not common to find a table in the men's bathroom, as in the women's bathroom gets used to it.
For this reason, several parents have taken on the task of highlighting this situation on the networks, and with this, they demand that their bathrooms also have diaper changing tables, which would facilitate their task when changing clothes. of their children.
One of the cities that will do something about this is Galicia, since the Junta de Galicia, the governing body of the Spanish autonomous community of Galicia, will legislate so that changing diapers in public spaces is not just a women's task.
It is a project that, although, supports equality and women since little by little equality is being normalized, although there is still much to do.
However, this initiative is not only about France Mobile Number List equality, but also about a project that is aimed at stopping the aging of the population that especially affects this community.
According to El País, with the emigration of young people threatening the future of the Galician economy, according to the Galician Economic Forum, and with a birth rate lower than that of Japan (for every 1,000 women of childbearing age, they are born in Galicia 1.07 babies), the Galician Government has begun to process the Demographic Impulse Law, a pioneer in Spain, which it intends to definitively approve before the end of this legislature in 2020.
Therefore, it is important to take major measures to achieve this. With the announced measures and the law that contemplates the problem of the aging of the population, the Galician Government intends to boost, through the new norm, the offer of places in public schools for children from zero to three years old (twice as many as a decade ago) and the creation of a “rural conciliation network” based on the creation of so-called nest houses.
This is a measure announced by the Board, which consists of the obligation to install in new buildings for public use, even if the ownership is private, baby changing tables in both women's and men's bathrooms, except in cases where there is a mixed-use space.
With this, the aim is to encourage childcare in public buildings and make it easier for them to stay and move around. With the construction, it is also expected to promote renovations in different places such as bars and lounges.
The Demographic Impulse Law will also affect parking spaces in publicly and privately owned buildings. Thus, properties that have a parking space will have to have spaces adapted and reserved for families with children under 12 years of age, as some large stores already do.
These spaces will be larger than the rest and will be located in areas close to common accesses, respecting first those intended for disabled drivers. Also in this case, the Board will encourage reforms to be undertaken in existing ones so that they adapt to the new standard.
